Report on Industrial Relations and Working conditions in IMF- related TNCs in China
Submitted by amrc on Mon, 12/03/2007 - 15:29.The Asia Monitor Resource Centre (AMRC) was commissioned by the International Metalworkers’ Federation (IMF) to conduct a pilot investigation of industrial relations and working conditions in IMF-related sectors in China in 2006. An investigation team made up of Hong Kong and China-based labour researchers was formed to conduct field research into the working conditions inside 27 foreign-invested factories, and gather secondary material regarding the development and performance of IMF industries.
